Introducing Mary!

Hi everyone! I'm happy to introduce another new member of the Mix It Up Challenge Blog DT! Say hello to Mary! Her blog is Ameera Crafts and I know you'll agree she has some serious talent!

I live in the UK and have been crafting for around 7 years. I don't really have a favourite craft, I just like to be busy and spend time playing around.

I love being a member of my Design Teams and I have made many friends from all over the world. I also own and run my own challenge blog which I love!

I love to craft and spend many hours watching videos on YouTube and other places learning new techniques, though I don't always put them to use.

I am afraid I am addicted to pretty papers and dies. I also like to colour and have a huge collection of digi, rubber & clear stamps.

Hi everyone! I'm happy to introduce another new member of the Mix It Up Challenge Blog DT! Say hello to Irena! Her blog is Irena's Art and you're going to love what you see!

My name is Irena Stefanova.

I am a loved wife, a mother of 3 children and grandmother of a beautiful girl. I am living in a small town in North-East Bulgaria. I am a very happy woman, because I have the opportunity to do what I'm interested, what I love and what fits my values and my lifestyle. I have a volunteer's soul. 

I started with cards at the end of 2013. In the fall of 2014 I was hooked to mix media and since then it remains my preferred style. Actually It is difficult for me to define my style, because I want to try everything. The challenge to go outside of my comfort zone inspires me so much. I am a fearless and curious person. My favourite media are acrilic paints and modeling paste, but you may find that I love recycling, altered stuff, gelli printing and Art Journaling.

Introducing Cindy!

Hi everyone! I'm happy to introduce another new member of the Mix It Up Challenge Blog DT! Say hello to Cindy! Her blog is In Love with PAPER and you'll be amazed at what you see!

My name is Cindy Messer and I live in TX with my wonderful husband of 15 years and my two, beautiful kids. I'm blessed to be a stay-at-home mom. Before becoming a mom I worked for JPMorgan as a staff accountant.

I've been crafting in one form or another since I was little. My mom taught me to sew, crochet, embroider and counted cross stitch. My true love has got to be paper crafting though. I was invited to a friend's Stampin' Up party about 20 years ago and that is where my love of paper crafts began. I love to make cards, mini albums and home decor projects.

My name is Ina and I live in Sunny Queensland Australia.

I have been crafting for a several years now and

There are so many products to entice us so there 

is always something new to try our hand at.

I have become a big fan of Mixed Media of late and love getting my fingers inked 

in the process. I love working with stamps dies and stencils.

Always fun to try new techniques which sometimes are challenging

and so rewarding to see the end results.

I'm Sherry, I was born in Kentucky and moved to Washington. I am married, I have three children and four grandchildren. I have enjoyed all types of arts and crafts ever since I can remember. Painting, needlework, scrapbooking, crocheting, cross-stitch, drawing and coloring - paper and pixels. When my children where little I enjoyed creating cards with a computer program, now I really enjoy making cards by hand. I am so very excited to be a part of the Mix It Up Challenge Blog Design Team!

Welcome Cheryl!

Hi everyone! I'm happy to introduce another new member of the Mix It Up Challenge Blog DT! Say hello to Cheryl! Her blog is Ideas For Cardmaking and you're really going to love her style!

G'day from Melbourne, Australia! 

I am a very creative person who is passionate about papercrafts. I love creating mixed media items, and to date I've dabbled in art journaling and canvases, as well as journal covers. Recently I made my first ever mini-album. 

My main craft is cardmaking, and on average, make anywhere from 20 to 40 cards per month as I supply a flower shop and gift shop. (Even though it sounds like a job, it's not. It's more like stress therapy!) 

In between all of that, I write romantic suspense novels with three published, and more on the way. 

I have been married to my husband Alan, for 42 years. We have two adult children, and six grandchildren. 

Ours is a multi-generational household, as well as having two cats and an almost two year old attention-seeking puppy. 

I am looking forward to playing along.

Introducing Kathy!

Hello! I hail from south central Pennsylvania where I've lived all my life & have been married for over 25 years to my high school sweetheart. I am momma to two terrific young adults who no longer live at home, but we do share our lives with many fur babies of all shapes and sizes (15 at current count)...the smallest being a Roborovski Dwarf hamster (since I participate in small animal/pocket pet rescue, more than half of the fur babies reside in my "rodent room", lol) and the largest being a 12 year old Chocolate lab. I am primarily a rubber stamper and card maker...I've enjoyed paper crafting for over 20 years now and it just never gets old! I am in my happy place when I sit down at my stamping desk to create. I can't wait to get started creating and sharing with you all here.

Introducing Niki!

Hi everyone! I'm happy to introduce another new member of the Mix It Up Challenge Blog DT! Say hello to Niki! Her blog is Pawsitively Creative and I know you'll agree she's got some talent!

Hello there y'all! I am a Southern girl (but not a Southern Belle) that loves any and all animals. I have been a Veterinary Technician for over 14 years and my fur babies are my heart, my DH is on that list as well but he is my heart and soul. Awwww! I love being able to help any and all animals (even the slimy ones) stay healthy and live long, amazing lives. 

My go to for my art is anything mixed media but my absolute favorite is making mini top hats. I try to dabble in everything and not stick to one technique or style. I am very excited to be on this new DT and can't wait to see what y'all create! Hugz and Carpe Diem!

Mix It Up Challenge Blog

Hi everyone! Mix It Up Challenge Blog is a new technique challenge blog featuring various techniques on mixed media projects, altered art, and paper crafts such as cards, tags, mini albums, ATCs, 3-D projects and scrapbook layouts! We're the sister blog to Love To Scrap Challenge Blog and Love To Craft Challenge Blog! A lot of challenge blogs have closed down over the past few months, so we're doing our part to bring some fun back into the blogging world with a new challenge every month! All challenges will be Anything Goes with an optional technique twist that you can play or not - it's entirely up to you!

Our challenges will go live at 6:00 AM EST on the 1st day of every month and run until 6:00 PM EST on the last day of the month. Winners and Top Picks will be chosen by our design team and announced on the 5th of the month following the close of each challenge.

You may enter our challenges up to five times (as long as each project is different) and you may combine our challenges with as many other challenges as you'd like! The more the merrier! :)

We do not solicit sponsorship so there are no prizes. We play for 'Winner' and 'Top Pick' badges. There may occasionally be a goody bag of craft supplies thrown in by the blog owner or some blog candy scattered for a lucky winner!

Our first challenge will go live on May 1st! Be sure to follow us so you don't miss out on anything! And we'd love it if you'd help spread the crafty love by sharing our badge on your blog! :D
