We'd like to say good-bye and bid a fond farewell to our teammies, Cathy and Lisa-Marie, who are stepping down from the team. We thank you both for your service to our design team and hope to continue seeing you around blogland! We wish you both the very best and we'll miss you. Big hugs from all of us!
And we'd like to say hello to Helen who has joined the team! We are delighted and we know you're going to love her work! Please visit her blog at Made By Helen. Many of you already know of her from around blogland, so please join us in welcoming Helen to the team!
My name is Helen and I live in the north west of Britain on the Wirral peninsula. I'm a full time Activities Coordinator for a charity which provides care for older people. I spend my time organising activities, entertainment, trips out etc and can often be found calling bingo, leading chair exercises, singing or playing dominoes! I also work part time for a local stamping firm teaching regular workshops for them. In my spare time I'm a card maker and I love my Promarkers and patterned papers. Looking forward to creating with the Mix It Up design team!
Also please join us in welcoming LeeAnn to the team! LeeAnn's blog is Mimi's Crafty Abyss so be sure to check it out - we know you're going to love what you see! Welcome aboard, LeeAnn!
My name is LeeAnn McKinney, I live in Lakeland Florida and absolutely love it here. I am married, have 3 adult daughters all married and two amazing grandchildren ages 2 and 4.
I am mostly a clean and simple papercrafter, although I do get messy, or go interactive from time to time.
When I am home, I am 99% of the time in my studio, when I am at work, I am usually coloring or cutting paper to finish my projects with when I get back home. I love the fact my job allows this during downtime.
I will do videos from time to time, although I am still getting use to speaking in the videos rather than playing music. Perhaps that should be my goal for 2019.
Okay, are you ready?! Our theme this month is...
Anything Goes + optional twist of Inlaid Die Cut
Our challenges are always Anything Goes but we always offer an OPTIONAL technique twist just to inspire you! It's up to you whether or not you play the twist... just remember the twist is NOT mandatory to play! ;)
The Mixed Up Girls have been busy creating some pretty amazing stuff to get your mojo going! Take a look at these pretties...
As a reminder, you can enter up to five projects in our challenges! And be sure to check out our sister blogs, Love To Scrap Challenge Blog and Love To Craft Challenge Blog, where you can enter up to five projects as well! We'd love to see you there! And if you've started creating your Christmas projects, join us over at our newest sister blog, Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog!
This challenge will run all month long, ending at 6:00 PM EST on the last day of month, so grab your papers, scissors and embellishments, and mix it up with us!
Hugs,
The Mixed Up Girls

Thank you for the challenge. Lovely work by the design team.
Morning. While I was trying to link my card I received a screen saying that there was an error and I could not complete the process. When I came back to do that I see that my name is under a big black box in your list of entries. Please could you erase that box so that I am able to reenter. Thanks you Glenda (onepapercat@gmail.com)
Hi Glenda! Thanks so much for playing in our challenge! I have fixed your entry which is #55 - please take a peek and let me know if there's anything else I can do! Thanks!
Hugs,
Leslie, Owner/Designer
Thanks Leslie. Looks perfect. Glenda
